For shipping, there are several options available. For Economy shipping, the cost is $6.95 for orders under $70, and it's free for orders over $70. The order arrives 2-9 business days from shipment date depending on receipt location. For Standard Ground shipping, the cost is $12.95 for orders under $70, and $5.00 for orders over $70. The order arrives 2-5 business days from shipment date. There are also options for Guaranteed 3-business day and Guaranteed 2-business day shipping, which cost $19.95/$12.00 and $24.95/$17.00 respectively for orders under/over $70. These orders are prioritized to arrive within the specified number of business days if the order is placed by 2pm ET, Monday-Friday. Expedited orders are not available for shipments to P.O. Boxes.

Dover Saddlery has a 90-day return policy. If something doesn't fit you or your horse, it can be returned within this period for a refund, exchange, or replacement. A Federal Express return label is created for the return. Items returned incur a shipping charge of $7.95 for a package up to 9 pounds, with an additional charge of $1 for every additional pound. This charge is deducted from the amount of your return. The package can be dropped off at a FedEx location. This service is only available within the contiguous 48 United States. For returns originating outside of the 48 contiguous US States, the return shipping costs must be prepaid. There are some exceptions to the return policy. Safety items such as helmets and protective vests may be returned within 30 days of purchase with their original tags intact. New saddles and riding boots may be returned within 90 days of purchase and are subject to a prorated refund based on usage. Used saddles may be returned within 30 days of purchase. Treats & vet meds which have been opened are not returnable. Horse apparel including blankets must be returned in clean condition, free of debris. Underwear is not returnable or exchangeable. Personalized items may not be returned unless defective.

For shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands, free Economy Shipping is not offered since FedEx charges substantially more to deliver to these locations.
